Flutter is Google's open-source framework for building cross-platform mobile applications with a single codebase. Automating Flutter apps is slightly more challenging compared to native Android/iOS apps because of custom widgets and rendering. The Appium automation tool supports Flutter automation through the FlutterIntegrationDriver, enabling testers to interact with Flutter-specific widgets and perform end-to-end testing on both Android and iOS.
