In their talk, Verena and Ioan presented a novel approach to machine data analytics using intent-driven automation from the Horizon Europe project INTEND. They showed how domain experts can define, compose, and deploy complex industrial analytics services using natural language, without needing deep technical knowledge. Verena highlighted the high-level benefits, including reduced deployment times, increased adaptability, and democratized access to industrial analytics. Ioan provided technical insights, demonstrating how a chatbot interface, domain-specific knowledge graph, and AI-based orchestration enable executable deployments across cloud and edge environments.
