** IMPORTANT INFO ON FOOD AND PAID EVENT INFO BELOW**

Had enough of holidays, partying and summer? Us neither but alas… 😅

Join us as we wrap up the season with an insightful talk that’s perfect for kicking off the new school year, all while enjoying some laid-back end-of-summer BBQ vibes.

This time we’ll be talking about FinTech cybersecurity with a focus on the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the Network and Information Security Directive 2 (NIS2). These regulatory frameworks are transforming how financial institutions approach cybersecurity, and understanding them is crucial for ensuring compliance and enhancing operational resilience.

In this session, Pranav will explore the key components of DORA and NIS2, their impact on the FinTech landscape, and practical strategies for achieving compliance. Whether you're a cybersecurity professional, compliance officer, or FinTech or general cybersecurity enthusiast, this meetup will equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate these regulatory requirements effectively.

Key Topics:

  • Understanding DORA and NIS2: An overview of the regulations and their significance.
  • Compliance Strategies: How organisations can align with DORA and NIS2 standards.
  • Impact on FinTech: The implications for financial institutions and technology providers.
  • Practical Implementation: Tools and techniques for enhancing operational resilience and cybersecurity.
  • Case Studies: Real-world examples of successful compliance and resilience strategies.

Who Should Attend:

  • Cybersecurity professionals or enthusiasts looking to enhance their understanding of DORA and NIS2.
  • Compliance/Risk leaders seeking to ensure their organisations meet regulatory requirements.
  • FinTech professionals interested in staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Anyone passionate about cybersecurity and operational resilience in the financial sector.
