Milan is going to take us through a robust approach to releases. He is going to show us how to apply a blue/green deployment strategy to increase application availability and reduce deployment risk by simplifying the rollback process if a deployment fails.

2️⃣ Leveraging dbt Tooling to Speed up Development and Deployment Speaker: Daniela Barokova, Analytics Engineer at Slido

Daniela is going to show us how to utilise dbt tooling and a Slim CI methodology to streamline data transformation and deployment pipelines. She is going to share insights on maximising workflow efficiency, optimising costs and saving time during the development cycle.

3️⃣ Level up the modern data stack with dbt and DuckDB kit Speakers: Jozef Regináč (director of data science engineering) and Pavel Ježek (data engineer) at STRV

Jozef and Pavel faced an interesting challenge related to running ML Python scripts inside their data stack. In this presentation, they are going to show us how they tackled it through the powerful combination of dbt and DuckDB. Join us to see their simple, elegant and cost-efficient solution.
