In your second session a speaker from Google will explore how you can support Data and AI foundations needs in today's world. Also, you will get a chance to listen in on the Google Cloud sovereign controls when it comes to Data and Analytics.

Speakers: Rui Machado Rui is a Data and AI Consultant with 15 years of experience in data engineering and digital transformation. He recently authored “Analytics Engineering with SQL and dbt,” published by O'Reilly. Currently Vice-president of Data Engineering and Architecture at H&M, he has held data engineering and science leadership positions at companies such as Jumia, Nike, and Facebook. His career has taken him through Portugal, Belgium, and England. He holds a Master’s degree in Data Analytics, specializing in Machine Learning, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, contributing to his professional capabilities in data and engineering

Akansha Bhagwanani Akanksha Bhagwanani is a Data Analytics Specialist in EMEA Data Analytics Practice at Google Cloud. She has over 15 years of experience in the data analytics industry, and is passionate about helping businesses use data to make better decisions. In her role, Akanksha works with customers to understand their data needs, design and implement data solutions, and train their staff on how to use Google Cloud Platform's data analytics tools. She helps large enterprises adopt GCP to drive business outcomes through scalable data platforms. As part of her focus on data and analytics, Akanksha also has a keen interest in data governance and helps GCP customers adopt data governance in a hybrid and cloud first world.
