Roman Ausländer is an experienced IT Security Trainer and Consultant with over two decades in the cybersecurity industry. As an experienced trainer, Roman has worked with top organizations across various sectors, specializing in security management, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, SIEM systems, and privileged account security. His extensive expertise spans several leading technologies, including Cisco, Check Point, and F5, and he holds certifications such as CCNA, RHCE, and Palo Alto Certified Network Security Instructor.
With a strong foundation in both network and application security, Roman is passionate about helping organizations implement cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, like cyber ranges, to enhance resilience and readiness against real-world threats.
About the Location: c-base e. V. is a non-profit association located in Berlin, Germany which has about 300 members. The purpose of this association is to increase knowledge and know-how regarding computer software, hardware and data networks.
The premises of the association are also used by other initiatives in and around Berlin as an event location or as function rooms, for example the wireless community network freifunk.net, the Chaos Computer Club or the Wikipedia group in Berlin.
