Our October meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 14th, at 5:30 pm! We will meet in person at: Rensselaer Chamber of Commerce, 90 4th Street, Troy, NY.

Michelle Gutzait and Christian Cote are presenting on a relatively new Microsoft/Azure offering that is a game-changer in the world of analytic data: Fabric from the Ground Up In this presentation, Christian and Michelle will talk about why do we want to use Microsoft Fabric and will explain the Fabric capacity, security and pricing models.

They will also discuss the differences between a Lakehouse and a Warehouse, along with example use cases.

Lastly, they will demonstrate the options, advantages and limitations of the Power BI Direct Lake access capability.
