About the Speaker: Marcos Gutierrez is an experienced cybersecurity leader with over 16 years of leadership experience across a range of industries, including FinTech, Banking, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Insurance, and Consultancies.

Prior to relocating to Berlin, Marcos co-founded and led APSIC (Asociación de Profesionales Seguridad de la Información y Ciberseguridad), a non-profit community of cybersecurity professionals based in Colombia, with over 400 members in executive and leadership positions.

Skilled in security leadership, architecture, and advising, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective security strategies, he is also certified in CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, and ISO 20000, and fluent in English and Spanish.

About the Location: c-base e. V. is a non-profit association located in Berlin, Germany which has about 300 members. The purpose of this association is to increase knowledge and know-how regarding computer software, hardware and data networks.

The premises of the association are also used by other initiatives in and around Berlin as an event location or as function rooms, for example the wireless community network freifunk.net, the Chaos Computer Club or the Wikipedia group in Berlin.
