Live Demo of Fabric Translytical with Michael Olafusi
What \~ Toronto Data Professionals Community (Virtual) When \~ Thursday, 20th November, 2025
Agenda:
Where: Online via Microsoft team
Session Details: Ever faced users who wanted to make direct inputs in their Power BI reports? Or supply chain and production managers who wanted to model different scenarios on the fly in their Power BI report by adding inputs directly in the report layer? Or a financial controller who wanted to input his own unbounded model inputs rather than selecting preset values?
Well, all these are now easier to achieve with Translytical. And I will be demoing an interesting use case.
Speaker Bio: Michael Olafusi is an 11x Microsoft Most Valuable Professional who quit his telecoms job in 2014 to start his data analytics consulting company. He's been lucky to be at the shore just before the big BI wave and hopes to ride the wave for many, many more years. He's currently looking for how to prepay for a 10-year subscription to ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity AI before they start pricing them for profit.
