Bruce Hembree is an executive with ziggiz, a data science startup. Prior to ziggiz, he was an executive with Palo Alto Networks building the Cortex line of products that were foundational to the Palo Alto Networks SOC. Most notably, Bruce ran the operations for the elite Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit (DCU), as featured in the documentary "The Perfect Weapon" and introduced into the public eye in the Tom Clancy book "Threat Vector." The DCU is a small team of offensive-side security professionals that have conducted the largest offensive takedowns of criminal and nation-state threat infrastructure in the history of the Internet. A veteran of the US Air Force, Bruce spent multiple tours deployed to active conflict regions.

He also helped build the tech in one of the world’s most advanced SOCs.
