Applied Meteorologist AccuWeather

Crystal Camron is an Applied Meteorologist on AccuWeather's Data Science team, where she leverages meteorological data to deliver actionable insights for complex customer needs. She holds a B.S. in Geosciences with a Professional Meteorology Concentration (2016) and an M.S. in Meteorology & Climatology with a minor in Geospatial Sciences and Remote Sensing (2018), both from Mississippi State University. Her passion for meteorology began after experiencing Hurricane Georges in 1998 while living in Puerto Rico. From firsthand experience with extreme weather to advanced data science, Crystal channels her passion and diverse skill set into helping others navigate atmospheric impacts and strengthen critical decision-making.
