Madeline McIntosh is a digital pioneer and book publishing executive who has played a seminal role in each of the major inflection points in the consumer book market over the past three decades, including the birth of ecommerce, digital audio, and ebooks. She is the cofounder, CEO and Publisher of Authors Equity, a new company dedicated to reshaping the relationship between author and publisher. Prior to that, she was the CEO of Penguin Random House in the US. She serves on the boards of Simon & Schuster and Poets & Writers.
