Dr. Joan LaRovere is Co-Founder and President of Virtue Foundation, an NGO with Special Consultative Status to the United Nations focused on a data-driven, evidence-based approach to development. The foundation’s mission is to deliver quality healthcare to those in need while working to create an efficient marketplace for global healthcare delivery through machine learning and AI. Dr. LaRovere has led collaborations with companies such as Apple, Carto, DataRobot and Databricks, among others, and governments globally. Dr. LaRovere is also a Senior Attending in Cardiovascular Critical Care and Associate Chief Medical Officer for Transformation at Boston Children’s Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.
