Tom leads Microsoft’s Startup Success organization, partnering with strategic startups in priority industries to turn AI and cloud innovation into durable business outcomes. He oversees programs, operations, and technical enablement across a global team—connecting founders to Microsoft’s technology portfolio, customer access, and deep industry expertise to accelerate adoption at enterprise scale. Tom has advised customers worldwide on technology‑driven transformation and has lived and worked in Europe, Asia, and the United States. An entrepreneur at heart, he founded and exited two companies: Solair, a pioneering IoT SaaS application platform acquired by Microsoft in 2016, and DPT Group in the CAD/PLM space, sold to private investors. He is a committed advocate for women in technology and inclusive innovation—because technology shapes everyone’s lives, its creators must reflect that diversity.
