In 2018, the Government Blockchain Association (GBA) Budget Accountability & Transparency Working Group was established with a goal of putting government budgets on blockchain, an idea before its time.

Now with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. advocating for blockchain-based government budgets the idea has gained momentum. As the new Secretary of the U.S. Health & Human Services Administration, the HHS budget is a perfect case study. All government budgets will benefit from being put on a blockchain?

Many questions need to be answered before he could make that decision. Most importantly, would the blockchain of choice actually DO WHAT IT PROMISES?
