Demystifying Vector Databases: Your Next Must-Learn Technology

Ever heard of Vector Databases and wondered what they are? This session is for you!

Vector Databases use AI to convert various types of data into numeric representations, called vectors. This speeds up searches for similar data while also offering robust data management, reliability and access control.

In this talk, we’ll demystify what Vector Databases are, their uses, benefits and potential challenges. We’ll cover how Amazon OpenSearch Service makes it easy for you to perform interactive log analytics, real-time application monitoring and website search. We’ll also explore ow Amazon Relational Database Service for PostgreSQL supports the pgvector extension, an Open-source vector similarity search for Postgres, to store embeddings from ML models in your database and to perform efficient similarity searches.

Join us to enhance your understanding of Vector Databases and spark ideas for your future projects. -----

* Please note that this is an alcohol-free event. Light bites will be provided. * By attending this event, you agree to abide by our community code of conduct.
