Forming a study group that want to earn their AWS cloud certifications for 2026 & we are about to meet up to discuss ideas on how we can support each other to learn faster

The agenda for the meetup is as follows:

• intros & certification
• choosing the 1 weekend day review session
• choosing the 1 weekday night zoom discussion
• high level study plan
• study resources
• discord chat organization

Right now we have 9 people ranging a person that knows nothing about cloud computing or software development to a person that is a DevOps engineer so everyone is free to join. Also our neighborhoods we live in range from the Bronx to Staten Island & Long Island to Jersey City.

Some of us are studying for the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (1 month study, plan to take exam early February 2026) & then join the rest that are studying for the AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification
