March edition! We will be at Kraken Tech (Octopus Energy Group) London office! Talks: WASM-powered Django apps with PyScript - Valerio Maggio In this talk, I will talk about PyScript, WASM, web-workers and how this technology can be used to create awesome Django apps using Python in the browser. In the first part of the talk, I will provide a quick overview of the main features of PyScript; and how PyScript compares to other existing Python/WASM solutions. Afterwards, I will showcase an example Django app integrating PyScript, to demonstrate its potential and capabilities. I will also share a few tips, best practices, and lessons learnt when working on Django apps using PyScript. Navigating your job search in 2024 - Jon Gould Looking at the journey of searching for a Django job from initial thoughts through to the first day.
