We are super excited to announce our 1st hybrid Mainframerz event will be happening this March 14 on the theme of 'The Different Flavours of COBOL'.

3 speakers are confirmed: Roland Koo (IBM), Erik Weyler (SEB) and Derek Britton (recorded presentation)

The event will be broadcasted live for anyone wanting to join online and will also be hosted from a venue in Central London for anyone wanting to join in person.

On Thursday 7 December we have our last event of the year!

We will start with a Year of Mainframerz, a quick retrospective looking back over our events this year - great if you would like to hear more about who we are and what we get up to.

Then the main focus will be an extended Mainframerz Christmas Quiz. It will be informal, interactive and probably a little bit silly, with a range of rounds on loosely-based technology & mainframe themes. We may even have a prize? No experience or expertise necessary (just bring a smart phone or tablet if you are able to, for participating in the quiz).

This will be a great opportunity to meet the Mainframerz team and some of the wonderful Mainframerz community, as well as have some fun in the run-up to the Christmas season. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Please join us for our next Mainframerz event on the October 5. On the back of a successful event in June 2021, we will again be opening up the mic, to hear people's tales and stories on the mainframe.

The mainframe is nearly 60 years strong and is still as resilient and successful as ever. Some of this will be down to how individuals and teams have reacted in times of pressure and adversity when things have gone horribly wrong. Please come and share some of your tales, funny stories, adventures, mishaps and near misses from over the years (nothing is too large, nothing is too small).

This will be an online event. Please note to encourage participation we will not be recording this session!!

This will likely be our penultimate event of the year Agenda and more details will be coming soon.
