Event Airflow Summit 2025 2025-07-01

Apache Airflow® 3 is here, bringing major improvements to data orchestration. In this keynote, core Airflow contributors will walk through key enhancements that boost flexibility, efficiency, and user experience. Vikram Koka will kick things off with an overview of Airflow 3, followed by deep dives into DAG versioning (Jed Cunningham), enhanced backfilling (Daniel Standish), and a modernized UI (Brent Bovenzi & Pierre Jeambrun). Next, Ash Berlin-Taylor, Kaxil Naik, and Amogh Desai will introduce the Task Execution Interface and Task SDK, enabling tasks in any environment and language. Jens Scheffler will showcase the Edge Executor, while Tzu-ping Chung and Vincent Beck will demo event-driven scheduling and data assets. 1. 19h00\, Évolution de notre orchestrateur répondre aux besoin MLOps d’une équipe en croissance — Remi Takase et Alexandre Blanchard de Mirakl Retour d'expérience sur Amazon MWAA et comparaison avec Databricks.

2. 19h35\, La vie d'un committer et PMC member Airflow — Pierre Jeambrun Pierre, committer et PMC member de Apache Airflow fera un retour d’expérience autour de son parcours open source (OSS).

Il présentera succinctement les valeurs de la fondation Apache ainsi que les raisons qui l’ont incité à contribuer. À quoi s’attendre en rejoignant une telle communauté ?

Dans une seconde partie Pierre exposera concrètement comment débuter ses premières contributions à Apache Airflow. En commençant par le setup de l’environnement de développement, l’utilisation des outils dédiés, les ressources utiles, jusqu’à la création de la première PR.
