Designing the user experience of AI products by Dr. Janna Lipenkova Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way we develop and use software. It takes us from a world of deterministic interfaces toward more flexible, probabilistic interactions - and while these are often more powerful, they also require more judgement, critical thinking, and know-how from users. In this talk, I will talk about state-of-the-art best practices and design patterns in AI UX design. We will cover topics such as how to manage failures, guide users through AI interfaces, and communicate the capabilities, but - crucially - also the limitations of an AI product or feature. The talk is based on learnings and insights that I synthesized while driving the discovery and development efforts of numerous AI projects. Sign up now! We are looking forward to you :) |
