Join us in Karlsruhe for the next edition of the Knowledge Graphs & AI Hub, a growing community of researchers, practitioners, and curious minds exploring how semantic technologies and AI are transforming the industrial landscape.

This time, we're diving into how standardization and semantics can supercharge industrial data. From CFIHOS to Asset Administration Shells (AAS), we'll explore real-world applications that show how structured knowledge unlocks smarter, more interoperable systems. But this is just the beginning - we’ll also show how these two standards could be harmonized using ISO 23726-3, the Industrial Data Ontology.

Whether you work with knowledge graphs, industrial data or AI—or you're just keen to learn how these tools can raise the bar for industry—you’re in the right place.

🕠 Agenda 5:00 PM \| Doors open 5:30 PM \| Welcome & Talks

🎤 Talks include:

  • Implementing CFIHOS on large capital projects by Guillaume Poulain (SBM Offshore) - 20 min
  • "Interoperable Digital Product Passports with Knowledge Graphs and Asset Administration Shell" by Hossein Rimaz (metaphacts) - 20 min

Industries face a pressing challenge: product and asset data remain fragmented and non-interoperable across the value chain. This limits collaboration, efficiency, and innovation—while upcoming regulations such as the EU’s Digital Product Passport (DPP) make standardized, machine-readable data a business necessity.

This talk explores how the Asset Administration Shell (AAS, IEC 63278) and Knowledge Graphs (RDF, SPARQL, SHACL) provide a robust foundation for interoperable, trusted data exchange across organizations and sectors. We will also look at how Large Language Models (LLMs) can unlock new opportunities by connecting unstructured and structured data, making information more accessible and actionable.

Attendees will gain insights into how these technologies enable regulatory compliance, reduce integration costs, support new circular and data-driven business models, and strengthen competitive advantage in an increasingly connected industrial ecosystem.

  • "Why the Industrial data ontology can lay the harmonized foundation for AI" by Andreas Neumann (FreelanceCatalyst) - 20 min

7:00 PM \| Networking & Refreshments

Expect insightful talks, lively discussion, and a chance to connect with others building the future of interoperable, intelligent industry systems.

🍹 This is an alcohol-free event—don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of festive treats to keep things fun.

Code of Conduct: Please be respectful, inclusive and kind. We’re here to learn and lift each other up.
