The Christmas elves have been busy packing their sleigh with shiny new features announced at Ignite this year. We will take you through the sparkling baubles of delight that already have your data users demanding more. As the users unwrap the delights of AI driven trumpets the parents in governance look on with dread. Laura and Claire will with a mix of entertaining Christmas themed demos will show off some of the "brilliant" new features including plenty of Agents and AI doing "magic" across your data. Do not fear though we will include how and where switches are to turn off, control and audit what chaos the new toys bring. Demos and Laughter, we will break things so you don't have to! There will be a prize for the best Christmas jumper worn to our session!

As AI reshapes how organisations build, manage, and use APIs, governance has become a critical foundation.\nWithout clear standards, consistency, and alignment across teams, API sprawl slows delivery, weakens quality, and limits the value APIs can bring to AI initiatives.\n\nThis masterclass helps you design a cohesive, scalable API governance framework that works for your team, your line of business, or your entire organisation.\nYou will learn how to turn governance into an enabler — not a constraint — and how to ensure your API ecosystem is ready for AI-driven use cases.\n\nIf you want to improve API quality, design consistency, reuse, discoverability, and lifecycle practices across your organisation, this session is for you.

A 120-minute live masterclass exploring how AI and Generative AI are revolutionizing cloud protection, reshaping security operations, and helping businesses build a more resilient AWS ecosystem. Learn how AI is transforming modern cloud security on AWS, AI-driven threat detection and prevention techniques, real-world GenAI use cases, and strategies to prepare your organization for the AI-first security era.

In this talk, Don explores how GitHub Agentic Workflows - a framework developed at GitHub Next - can revolutionise F# library development through automated performance and test improvements. The approach introduces "Continuous Test Improvement" and "Continuous Performance Improvement" where AI agents automatically research, measure, optimise, and re-measure code performance in a continuous loop, all while maintaining human oversight through pull request reviews and goal-setting. This semi-automatic engineering approach represents a fundamental shift in software development: from manual coding to AI-assisted completions, to task-oriented programming, and now to event-triggered agentic workflows. Don will demonstrate practical applications in F# libraries, showing how these workflows can identify performance bottlenecks, generate benchmarks, implement optimisations, and verify improvements - all while preserving code correctness through automated testing. Learn how this emerging technology could transform how we maintain and optimise F# libraries, making high-performance code more accessible to the entire F# community.

We’ll explore: - How Elasticsearch can be used to organize and search through large content libraries (music samples, project files, video clips, code snippets) for fast retrieval. - Ways Kibana visualizations can track audience engagement and content performance in real time. - The role of AI-driven insights in shaping creative output, from deciding which DJ mixes to publish next to optimizing Python course delivery for beginners. - How to bridge technical concepts with creative workflows to reach a global audience, including Spanish-speaking learners in Latin America and Spain. Whether you’re a developer, educator, or creator, you’ll leave with practical ideas for using Elastic’s tools to bring structure, insight, and scalability to your own projects, technical or creative.
