THE TALKS How to Train Your LLMs? - Shubham Gandhi (he/him) This talk explores optimization techniques for training large language models. I’ll cover practical strategies that make LLM training more resource-efficient and scalable.

Shubham is an MLOps Engineer at FuzzyLabs. He's passionate about bridging the gap between research and production, and enjoys exploring how machine learning systems can be scaled and optimised in practice.

Data and Training in AI Models - Why Empathy Matters Talk - Lucy Stafford-Hughes (She/Her) This talk will be exploring currently use of AI models in the general public, considering the training of models and the learning once these are released with a lens on empathy and why this matters.

Lucy Stafford-Hughes is a Specialist Consultant who works in Large Scale Business and IT Transformation with specialisms in Data and Agile. She is also currently exploring ethics in AI.

LOCATION We'll be at Autotrader, who are also kindly supplying catering. The capacity is limited to 80. After the talks we'll all head somewhere local for some post-event socialising.
