Originally from Lithuania, Vaida followed her interest in data by moving to the UK and enrolling in a Mathematics, Operational Research and Statistics degree at Cardiff University. This degree included a "year out in industry" - a professional placement that empowered Vaida to find her true passion: breaking down complex requirements into solvable questions and converting data into insights. Since joining Travis Perkins in 2011, she has built a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise through roles in Marketing, IT, and Finance. Vaida leads the Group Data Science team and has a proven track record of successfully delivering bespoke data & insights solutions across the Travis Perkins Plc. Vaida is passionate about inspiring women to join the data industry and creating a more inclusive working environment.
