Cindy Chin is a founder, inventor of multiple AI patents in the tech industry, and serial entrepreneur. She is the CEO and Chief Space Officer of Planetary Systems AI and a NASA Datanaut. She is a data evaluator in frontier technologies with data, Al, machine learning, geospatial satellite technology, and space focus areas.

She is also a NASA Datanaut, Ambassador and judge of NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge (the largest hackathon on the planet), a RSA Fellow, and a visiting professor at FH Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. She is a mentor, advisor and board member to several early stage startups as well as the Google for Startups Accelerator in North America and Al Data Lab at Howard University.

As an operator and founder, she was awarded machine learning patents by the USPTO, one of VivaTech’s Top 30 Female Founders in 2022, AI Awards North America nominee in 2022, startup competition winner and named as one of Entrepreneur Magazine's 50 Most Daring Entrepreneurs in 2018. She is also an angel investor and a member of several investor groups in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
