I've spent around 20 years working in the field of data in a variety of roles in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering and Data Governance and most recently, Chief Data Officer. These roles have been in a variety of industries, ranging from financial services, insurance, and public sector. At Places for People, we’ve recently embarked on a journey to help the organisation become data driven through a multi-year data transformation programme called ‘Making Better Decisions’.
I have a background in engineering, having gained a qualification in Electronic Engineering, and on a more personal note I consider myself to be an avid geek, with interests in science, science fiction and gaming in my spare time.
