He excels in transforming organisations and products by helping them find a path to growth using their data. Shachar has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing data and analytics teams in both startups (WorldRemit, Pontis), and large companies (PayPal, Meta). At Meta, Shachar was the Director of Data Engineering for Trust and Safety and London Data Engineering site lead. Shachar is now a Data Advisor, supporting companies and individuals in their data journey. Outside of work, Shachar enjoys quality time with his family, cooking, and flying airplanes and helicopters.
