Pavel Yakunin is the Principal Software Engineer and Data Architect at Deutsche Bank Global Foreign Exchange tribe. He began his career in physics, earning a PhD in quantum optics. Subsequently, he transitioned to software and fintech, working chiefly with data and statistical systems. In 2017, Pavel became the lead engineer on a project to build a divisional data platform for Deutsche Bank Foreign Exchange from scratch. As the platform grew, Pavel assumed responsibility for the platform's product direction and data architect role.
