Jay Parikh is a seasoned executive, board member, and advisor to some of the world’s fastest-growing and most successful consumer, developer, and enterprise technology companies. In October 2024, he joined Microsoft’s Senior Leadership Team as Executive Vice President of CoreAI, bringing deep expertise in engineering, product, and infrastructure to support CoreAI’s mission: Empower every developer to shape the future with AI. Beyond technology, Jay is committed to building talent, fostering culture, and accelerating customer value. Jay’s diverse background blends technical leadership with team-building, giving him a unique approach to scaling some of the world’s most iconic companies. As Vice President and Global Head of Engineering and Infrastructure at Facebook from 2009 to 2021, he led global teams that designed, developed, and operated the infrastructure powering Facebook’s products, supporting its growth from 300 million to more than 3 billion users.
At other points in his career, Jay has held leadership roles at Lacework, Ning, Akamai Technologies, and NetGravity. Known for his inventive spirit, Jay holds more than 20 US patents.
