Herain is the Vice President and GM for Microsoft Data & AI Security, overseeing growth of Microsoft Purview and Microsoft's Security for AI solutions. With more than 17 years at Microsoft and AWS in business, product, and marketing leadership within Data, Analytics, and AI, he previously served as SVP of Product Strategy, Monetization, Pricing/Packaging, and Product Marketing at Okta. He focuses on leadership, emotional intelligence, communication, scaling businesses, and helping organizations adopt AI through strong data security and governance. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon and an M.B.A. from Cornell.
