Alexander Wachtel, Ph.D., is a Microsoft AI MVP (since 2020) recognized for his community work in AI. He earned his Ph.D. from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where his research spans Human-Computer Interaction, Natural Language Processing, and Cognitive Services, and he teaches agile software engineering using Azure DevOps. He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) since 2013 and was a Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) expert from 2016 to 2019. He provides Microsoft consulting for industry and the public sector and teaches courses for the Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert.
