Elise is the Data Platform Director for the International divisions of Walgreens Boots Alliance, leading a cloud platform to connect enterprise data across Retail, Healthcare, Beauty, Digital, Opticians, Supply Chain to centralise reporting, data science and analytics. Elise is passionate about the role she plays to turn a treasure-trove of data into a joined-up experience with the customer at its centre to improve their wellbeing, for life. Throughout her career Elise has always had a passion for the human side of data – how to use it to be more personalised, relevant, valuable. Her career has focussed on customer facing and data-led solutions in roles across business transformation, consultancy, design, enterprise architecture and leadership. She refers to herself as a ‘realist visionary’ – curious, with a solution mindset, able to see the bigger picture but realisitic about what is achievable, deliverable and will deliver value for stakeholders and customers. Elise is a supportive coach and mentor and proud to be recognised as Top 20 Women in Data & Tech 2023 by Women in Data®, IT Team of the Year at the UK IT Industry Awards 2022 & British Data Award Winner 2022. Outside of work, she’s a co-parenting mum, loves getting to the coast to paddleboard or the mountains to ski.
