Brett Howard is a seasoned Chief Information Officer (CIO) with 35+ years of experience in IT and software development. Currently, he heads the technology strategy for the Orange County Superior Court in California. Brett graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Math/Computer Science and worked for global firms like IBM and Siemens, mid-sized companies, and a Silicon Valley startup. He successfully launched the Public Health Exchange for Nevada State before joining the court. Brett is passionate about technology and building productive organizations. Under his leadership, the court underwent a technology and application infrastructure transformation. Brett is an active participant in state and national initiatives to advance technology in the court system. He is particularly interested in the use of AI to enhance and provide new court services.
