Albert Kooiman serves as General Manager of Microsoft Teams Partner Engineering and Customer Enablement at Microsoft. He leads a team that collaborates with prominent hardware manufacturers and software developers to deliver high-quality calling and meeting devices and solutions, as well as assists customers unlocking the power of Microsoft Teams. With more than thirty years of experience in telecommunications and speech technology, Albert has been instrumental in advancing communications and speech-enabled solutions. He has developed scalable developer platforms for unified communications in both on-premises and cloud environments, and co-founded the team responsible for transforming room systems and other certified devices for Microsoft’s unified communications products. Albert earned a Master's degree from the Medical Faculty of the University of Amsterdam, specializing in Medical Informatics. He began his career working in Hospital Information Systems and Medical Statistics.
