Michelle Gervais is a seasoned data executive experienced across multiple geographies and industries. She currently serves as the Head of Global Data Policy & Governance at Visa, where she oversees the development and implementation of data policies and governance strategies that ensure the responsible and ethical use of data across the organization. With a background as a Data Science practitioner, Michelle combines her practical data skills with a deep understanding of the complexities of global data regulations, implementing Visa’s data strategy with a balanced approach. Prior to joining Visa, Michelle co-founded TYME Bank in Southern Africa, where she served as the Head of Customer Experience and Data Monetization driving an innovative digital value proposition for developing markets. She previously launched the Customer Insights practice for Deloitte Consulting South Africa. Michelle’s passion for data, interest in leveraging technology, and flair for designing data-driven products and services have made her a valuable innovator in the data field.
