Dan Gawarecki is a Senior Principal Engineer at Toyota Motor North America with more than 20 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity. Originally from Oneida, New York (best known for its silverware) Dan began his career in the United States Navy, where he honed his technical and leadership skills supporting mission-critical systems. Following his service, he worked as a contractor with the Department of Defense, contributing to national defense and security initiatives. Today, Dan continues to build on that foundation at Toyota, driving innovation and resilience in cybersecurity engineering. He holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and remains passionate about advancing secure, reliable solutions across complex enterprise environments.
