Armando Duran began his career with Cummins in 2000 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and has developed a distinguished career at the intersection of supply chain and technology. Over more than two decades, he has held progressive leadership roles across IT, logistics, and business transformation, working in multiple countries and regions while cultivating a strong global mindset.
His experience spans both regional and global scopes—leading IT and supply chain teams in Mexico, the United States, and across Latin America. Armando has led global teams in Planning and Logistics IT, served as Latin America Logistics Operations Director overseeing warehousing, transportation, trade, and packaging, and currently serves as IT Director for Business Transformation Digital Technology for the North America Distribution Business, driving digital transformation initiatives to enhance customer and employee experiences through innovative IT solutions.
Armando holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering and an MBA in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey. He is Green Belt certified, a Certified Advanced Supply Chain Professional (CASP), and a graduate of the HITEC Emerging Executive Program (2023).
He also contributes to his community as a board member of the non-profit Columbus Express Soccer Club.
