Ray Smith leads product for Microsoft’s Agent 365 platform, overseeing the control plane and workflow experiences that enable secure, identity-aware agent interactions across the tools employees use every day. He previously founded and led Microsoft’s Agent Innovations and Moonshot (AIM) team, driving autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration, and the governance, observability, and end-user experiences powering Agent 365. Ray brings two decades of product and engineering leadership across startups and large-scale enterprise platforms, with a focus on AI-native systems and next-generation productivity experiences.
