Anirban Majumdar serves as Head of the Office of the CTO at SAP. Based in Walldorf, he leads the reference architecture practice, drives SAP’s open source strategy, and oversees technology partnership architectures. He is responsible for major technology and architecture programmes across OCTO, including the North Star Architecture, the SAP Architecture Centre, and represents SAP at open consortiums such as the Linux Foundation.

Anirban has been with SAP for 17 years, holding a range of engineering and leadership positions that span product development and strategic technology initiatives. He earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Auckland.
