Ivan Razumenic is a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft, with over a decade of experience at the forefront of AI, Mixed Reality, and intelligent client platforms. He currently works on on-device language models for Windows, where he helped deliver Phi Silica—Microsoft’s small language model (SLM)—and its integration into task-specific text intelligence capabilities such as summarization and rewriting. Ivan is now focused on expanding the on-device SLM offering and enabling agentic workstreams on Windows, aiming to empower AI agents that can reason, act, and collaborate across applications locally. His earlier contributions include foundational work on Azure Kinect, Microsoft Mesh, and HoloLens 2, with deep expertise in real-time systems, sensor fusion, and user-centric AI.
