Yi-Chen Tu joined Capital One in 2007. She is the Card Divisional Data Officer leading with a mission - Enabling personalized customer experiences and financial empowerment through trusted data and insights. Throughout her time at Capital One, Yi-Chen has had various roles in cross functional teams in Card, including Product Management, Data Science, Risk Management, etc. In addition, she has invested in Business Resource Groups. She served as Origins National Co-Lead and is now the Accountable Executive of EmpowHER, Capital One’s Women BRG Yi-Chen grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. She earned her MS, Statistics and MSE, Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan. She lives in Chicago with her husband, Pei-Nong and two sons, Nolan and Owen. Yi-Chen embodies authentic leadership, fostering an inclusive environment where accountability thrives, while navigating challenges with resilience and a commitment to positive change
