Head of Business Intelligence - Schroders

Konstantina heads up Business Intelligence in the Client Insights Unit (CIU). The CIU uses the latest data science techniques and brings together data sets covering all client touch points (Distribution, Marketing, Digital, Finance and external vendors), to provide a holistic understanding of our clients and prospects, their behaviours, sentiment and intent.

Having left Greece, her beautiful home country, at the age of 18, Konstantina then had homes in both Barcelona and Berlin before making London her second home. Getting into data and technology was a leap of faith; it happened when a senior executive in the first company she worked for asked her to lead the development of a data warehouse for a start-up that the company had recently onboarded. Thankfully, her civil-engineering background, combined with some project management and business administration skills, enabled her to transition relatively easily into the fascinating world of data.

Moving from e-commerce to asset management has been, as Ralph Waldo Emerson famously said, all about the journey and not the destination; this holds true for her, as no matter the sector or country, it has always been the power of the stories and insights she gains through the journey data takes her on.
