Mulanga is the Data Science and AI Team Manager at E.ON Next, overseeing Debt and Credit Risk data. With nearly a decade of experience in the data field, she has worked across a variety of industries—including consulting, startups, telecommunications, and now a company in its scale-up phase. This diverse experience has given her a unique perspective on how the data landscape evolves as companies grow. Mulanga is passionate about enabling organizations to become truly data-driven, applying her skills to ensure data empowers better decision-making at every stage. Beyond her professional achievements, she is a dedicated wife and mother of two young children. Growing up as a Black woman in post-apartheid South Africa, Mulanga is deeply committed to inclusive leadership. She actively fosters environments where all voices, especially those from marginalized communities, feel safe and empowered to contribute. Her educational background includes a degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Cape Town, Africa’s leading university, and a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics with a focus on computer vision, a branch of machine learning. Mulanga brings both technical expertise and a strong sense of social responsibility to her role, creating spaces where innovation and inclusion thrive.
