Elizabeth Peters is the VP of Data Technology at 2U, LLC, where she leads a global team of 60+ data engineers, analytics engineers, BI developers, and data scientists to unlock insights, fuel innovation, and drive operational excellence and revenue growth. She has a proven track record of strategic data problem solving, rooted in efficiency and pragmatic optimism, and has overseen transformative projects at 2U, including implementing dbt Core as central data engineering infrastructure and migrating projects to dbt Cloud. Elizabeth is passionate about enabling her teams to execute independently in a collaborative and diverse environment. Prior to 2U, she worked in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry at Nielsen and PepsiCo, and holds a Bachelor’s from Cornell and a Master’s in Information and Data Science from UC Berkeley.
