Tirthankar Lahiri is Senior Vice President of Data, In-Memory and AI technologies at Oracle. He is responsible for the Data Engine for Oracle Database, as well as the Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database and Oracle NoSQLDB. Tirthankar works on a variety of mission-critical database areas, such as in-memory data management, data compression, AI vectors, and next generation scale-out technologies. He has a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and has 63 issued patents.
