Asha Sharma is President of Microsoft’s CoreAI Product, leading product development and overseeing AI across Microsoft and its enterprise customers, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Machine Learning, Responsible AI, AI Search, customizable APIs, and Azure AI Services. She also leads Applied Engineering, Computational Engineering, and Growth within Core AI. Prior to Microsoft, Sharma served as Chief Operating Officer of Instacart with full P&L responsibility across product, design, data science, research, marketing, operations, customer support, and new business initiatives, and earlier as Vice President of Product at Meta overseeing Messenger, Instagram Direct, Messenger Kids, Remote Presence, and platform services. Sharma serves on the boards of The Home Depot and Coupang and holds a BS in Business from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
