Rick Schultz is Chief Marketing Officer at Databricks, where he leads global marketing across product marketing, demand generation, branding and creative, global communications, events, field marketing, and community evangelism. Before joining Databricks in 2017, he was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Alteryx, helping grow the company from Series A to pre-IPO and from 100 customers to over 2,200. He previously led technology product marketing at Oracle (2008–2012), driving positioning and demand generation for a $6 billion portfolio of database, analytics, security, and management products. He holds a BS in Finance from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
