Director, Software Engineering Capital One

As a Director of Software Engineering at Capital One, I bring 14 years of experience in large-scale data and cloud engineering. I lead teams in the cyber threat detection space, where we build and operate a petabyte-scale data lake using Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake for real-time analytics at enterprise scale. My past work includes spearheading a mission-critical decisioning platform (using Spark, Kafka, and Python on AWS) that manages over \$10 billion in credit exposure, and developing cloud-native microservices to support over 40 million customers. I hold a Master's in Computer Science and am based in Northern Virginia.
