Robert Cassar Pace is the Senior Data Architect at Game Lounge, where he leads the company’s data team spanning Data Engineering, Data Science, and Business Intelligence. With a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of what makes data actually useful, Robert focuses on building scalable systems and empowering teams to make smarter, faster decisions.

Since stepping into the role, he has overseen a full migration from Looker to Omni in under 90 days, introduced frameworks to reduce dashboard clutter by over 80%, and helped roll out initiatives that build lasting trust in data across the organisation. His team is also responsible for integrating observability tools, surfacing predictive insights, and enabling a culture where data is part of the everyday workflow.

Robert is particularly passionate about helping non-technical teams become data-driven, and believes that well-structured data, automation, and the right level of storytelling can unlock huge value in any business. When he’s not building data systems or helping others make sense of them, he’s usually tinkering with new tools, discussing football (soccer), playing video games, or travelling.
